During his yearly summer tour across the State of Georgia, Georgia Tech President Ángel Cabrera made a stop in Carollton where the Local Ties Brewing Company was packed with enthusiastic alumni. Following a warm welcome from Alumni Association President Dene Sheheane, President Cabrera highlighted recent accomplishments of Georgia Tech, emphasizing the institution's remarkable growth and economic contributions to the state. The event featured engaging conversations and concluded with a group rendition of the Rambling Wreck. Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting Georgia, a new student who will be starting at the Sam Nun School of International Affairs within the Ivan Allen College this August. It was a delightful and enjoyable experience!
