María Corina Machado Parisca received the Georgia Institute of Technology Ivan Allen Jr. Prize for Social Courage for her brave and relentless fight for democracy and human rights in Venezuela. Because the regime won't let her leave the country, she zoomed in from an undisclosed location in her country. Her children were on campus to represent their mother, and Ana Corina Sosa delivered a moving speech when she accepted the prize on her mother's behalf.
