It's a good time for poetry, and we had another great Poetry@Tech event with three great poets: Patricia Smith, Sasha Stiles, and Bruce McEver, and a full house at the John Lewis Student Center. The wise embracing voice of McEver, one of the benefactors of the liberal arts at Georgia Tech; the raw energy of Smith, and the most techy of the three, Sasha Stiles, whose Technelegy poems are co-authored by a custom AI-powered text generator, probing how technology has made us more and more human over time, and exploring both the exhilaration and danger of our intimate relationship with the digital. Thanks to the organizers, especially Victoria Chang and Travis Denton.
