It's a good time for poetry, and we had another great Poetry@Tech event with three great poets: Patricia Smith, Sasha Stiles, and Bruce McEver, and a full house at the John Lewis Student Center. The wise embracing voice of McEver, one of the benefactors of the liberal arts at Georgia Tech; the raw energy of Smith, and the most techy of the three, Sasha Stiles, whose Technelegy poems are co-authored by a custom AI-powered text generator, probing how technology has made us more and more human over time, and exploring both the exhilaration and danger of our intimate relationship with the digital.
